Project Team
The Airport Advisory Board and the City of Tyler went through a process for selecting an airport planning and engineering consultant to carry out this project. THE LPA GROUP INCORPORATED in association with KSA Engineers, Inc. was selected to conduct this project. Operating through its 18 offices located throughout the southern United States, THE LPA GROUP provides engineering, architectural, planning and environmental services for the development of airports, roads, and bridges. The team is supported locally by KSA Engineers from Longview, Texas. KSA complements the team by offering specialized local experience in the areas of airport planning and engineering.

Technical Advisory Committee
The Technical Advisory Committee met at key points throughout the master plan process and provided input and recommendations to the consultant and the Airport Advisory Board on the direction that the plan should pursue. Meetings with the Technical Advisory Committee were conducted primarily to review the materials prepared in the working papers, as well as to establish revisions. Comments received during these meetings were considered in preparing the final report documents. Tenants and users of Tyler Pounds Regional Airport had additional opportunities for input throughout the project as well, and were encouraged to make contact with the appropriate Technical Advisory Committee member to ensure the maximum opportunity for input.
